In #chirologia entrambe le mani hanno qualcosa da dirci. Ogni mano rivela un particolare lato yin/yang del carattere: maschile/femminile, attivo/passivo, conscio/inconscio. Inoltre riflette come viviamo la nostra vita.
Per la tradizione chirologica la mano sinistra mostra simbolicamente le nostre caratteristiche innate ed ereditarie (il Cielo Anteriore), la destra dimostra ciò che si è raggiunto (il Cielo Posteriore), ciò che si è fatto nella vita.
In medicina cinese si parla spesso di cielo anteriore e cielo posteriore riferendosi a due diversi tipi di energia in grado di connotare la vitalità umana determinandola, nel bene e nel male.
Ma cosa rappresentano di preciso questi due importanti concetti?
Che ruolo hanno nell’uomo e in che relazione sono tra loro nel determinare la nostra energia?
Il rapporto tra il cielo anteriore e il cielo posteriore:
- il cielo anteriore è connesso a fattori innati della nostra costituzione
- il cielo posteriore è connesso al nutrimento acquisito dall’ambiente
Più in particolare:
- nel cielo anteriore rientra quello che in medicina occidentale potrebbe essere detto il “patrimonio genetico” (inclusi eventuali problemi congeniti) e tutto quanto rientra nella fase antecedente alla nascita (compresi aspetti che riguardano il cosmo e la dimensione che trascende la nostra più scontata fisicità)
- nel cielo posteriore rientrano, invece, le nostre scelte ed opportunità circa il nutrimento fisico (cibo, respiro) ed emozionale (scelte di vita, vissuto). Dal primo vagito fino al nostro ultimo respiro
Il cielo posteriore rappresenta tutto ciò che l’uomo è dopo la nascita, determinato in gran parte dall’energia fornita dall’aria e dal cibo. Mentre il cielo anteriore definisce, in un certo senso, l’imprinting della nostra persona e le nostre caratteristiche generali originarie, il cielo posteriore consente di modulare e in parte migliorare queste caratteristiche.
La forma delle mani e delle linee di una persona sono determinate dalla combinazione tra cielo anteriore e cielo posteriore, ovvero tra la costituzione prenatale e il successivo nutrimento postnatale.
L’aspetto fisico di una persona può fornire utili indicazioni rispetto alla tendenza costituzionale a presentare un determinato squilibrio energetico e, quindi, a sviluppare squilibri energetici (che in medicina occidentale si traducono poi in “malattie”).
Osservare il corpo, così come il comportamento della persona è, anche per questo, molto importante in medicina cinese in una fase di valutazione complessiva.
La distinzione tra cielo anteriore e cielo posteriore è una distinzione teorica e formale in quanto cielo anteriore e cielo posteriore sono due aspetti della stessa energia, come fossero lo Yin e lo Yang che si completano e si integrano.
Cielo posteriore e cielo anteriore sono, infatti, in strettissima relazione tra loro:
- il cielo posteriore è la base del cielo anteriore;
- il cielo anteriore nutre costantemente il cielo posteriore
In #Medicina Cinese questa relazione si esprime con il principio: l’innato incrementa l’acquisito, l’acquisito nutre l’innato.
Osservando in maniera più approfondita l’analogia tra carattere, personalità e mani ne deriva un’ulteriore specificazione delle caratteristiche opposte e complementari.
La Mano sinistra riflette gli aspetti privati – l’interiorità – lo stato psicologico – la capacità ricettiva. Simboleggia e fa riferimento all’energia costitutiva dell’individuo. Rimanda a tutto ciò che è antecedente alla nostra nascita.
Chiama in causa gli aspetti genetici (l’energia dei nostri genitori e dei nostri antenati) ma anche energie più sottili, fino ad arrivare a quella che viene anche definita “eredità karmica”.
E’ la rappresentazione della nostra unicità fin dal momento del concepimento, momento in cui si uniscono le energie dell’uomo e della donna (i nostri genitori) ma anche le energie del cosmo intero (astri compresi), per come sono in quel determinato momento.
Le caratteristiche di questa energia costitutiva sono determinanti. A noi spetta solo il compito di “interpretarla” durante la nostra vita, preservarla e proteggerla, affinché mantenga il più a lungo possibile il suo vigore.
Ciò è possibile grazie ad una condotta di vita equilibrata e alla possibilità di intervenire quotidianamente sull’energia vitale mediante alimentazione e pratiche energetiche riequilibranti come lo shiatsu, lo yoga e il qi gong.
La Mano destra riflette gli aspetti pubblici – l’esteriorità – le relazioni sociali – la capacità propositiva. Simboleggia e fa riferimento all’energia che l’uomo rinnova quotidianamente fin dal momento della nascita, soprattutto attraverso la respirazione e l’alimentazione. E’ un’energia per così dire “acquisita”, non congenita. Deriva dalle nostre scelte, giorno dopo giorno.
Nella pratica, quest’energia acquisita è costituito da quelle essenze assunte costantemente dall’esterno: cibo, aria, acqua, ma anche il nutrimento psicoaffettivo dato dalla qualità e dall’armonia dell’ambiente che scegliamo per la nostra vita! L’equilibrio nell’acquisizione di questo tipo di “carburante” permette il mantenimento delle funzioni vitali ed è garanzia per il nostro benessere psico-fisico.
Possiamo agire sul cielo posteriore, migliorando il nostro stato di benessere e trasformandoci ogni giorno.

Da un punto di vista psicologico
La mano sinistra mostra la nostra vera natura, ciò che siamo realmente, che mostriamo a poche persone scelte; sottende la relazione che abbiamo con noi stessi. I tratti del carattere presenti nella sinistra sono vivamente dimostrati con le persone in cui crediamo e confidiamo.
La mano destra mostra la maschera, il ruolo sociale; è correlata con il modo di esteriorizzare, il nostro personaggio pubblico, la capacità di porci in situazioni sociali; sottende le forme di relazione sociale.
Parole chiave:
La mano sinistra registra gli eventi che ci affliggono a livello personale profondo. I segni sulla mano sinistra registrano le reazioni psicologiche ed emotive; i sentimenti personali lasciano qui un segno profondo. Sono eventi che hanno inciso profondamente sulla nostra interiorità anche se questi non sembrano averci coinvolti personalmente.
La mano destra registra gli eventi che influiscono su come siamo nella società. I segni sulla mano destra registrano cambiamenti tangibili nella nostra vita, quelli che hanno diretto risultato sulle nostre interazioni e relazioni sociali.
Queste relazioni sono indipendenti da quale mano usiamo per scrivere, quindi restano confermate sia che siamo destri o mancini.
La mano dominante
Mentre leggiamo la mano in funzione delle sue caratteristiche dovremmo ricordarci che abbiamo una mano dominante, che rivela il modus operandi che attuiamo e che rappresenta la parte di cervello dominante in noi. Spesso è la mano con cui ci sentiamo a nostro agio nel sorreggere un microfono, una fionda, cioè quando facciamo qualcosa di inusuale ma spontaneo.
Come determinare la mano dominante.
Un semplice test ci rivelerà la mano dominante.
Appoggiare i palmi l’uno contro l’altro. Far scivolare le dita le une tra le altre, intrecciandole. Il pollice che si posizionerà al di sopra dell’altro individua la mano dominante.
Quando il pollice destro si posiziona in alto, la mano destra è dominante. Il nostro approccio alla vita è logico e razionale. La pianificazione e l’organizzazione sono i nostri modi di affrontare la vita.
Se il pollice sinistro è in alto, la mano sinistra è dominante. L’approccio alla vita è creativo, intuitivo, olistico. L’energia che mettiamo nell’affrontare la vita fluisce in modo espressivo e immaginativo.
Le combinazioni di mano dominante, mano con cui si scrive, mano ying/yang, forma della mano, ecc. mostrerà spesso varie contraddizioni, indicando più personalità presenti contemporaneamente e molti di noi passano le loro vite (consciamente o inconsciamente) nel cercare di equilibrare questi elementi in contrasto tra loro.
Leggere entrambe le mani
Esaminiamo sempre la mano sinistra per prima e in seguito compariamola con la destra. Osserviamo le differenze nella forma del palmo, delle dita, la loro lunghezza e posizione relativa tra loro. Poi ci dedichiamo alle linee.

In #chirology both hands have something to tell us. Each hand reveals a particular yin / yang side of the character: male / female, active / passive, conscious / unconscious. It also reflects how we live our life.
For the chirological tradition, the left hand symbolically shows our innate and hereditary characteristics (the Front Sky), the right shows what has been achieved (the Rear Sky), what has been done in life.
In Chinese medicine we often speak of anterior and posterior sky referring to two different types of energy capable of connoting human vitality determining it, for better or for worse.
But what exactly do these two important concepts represent?

The relationship between the front and the rear sky:
the anterior sky is connected to innate factors of our constitution
the rear sky is connected to the nourishment acquired from the environment
More in particular:
the anterior sky includes what in western medicine could be called the “genetic heritage” (including any congenital problems) and everything that falls within the pre-birth phase (including aspects concerning the cosmos and the dimension that transcends our most obvious physicality)
in the rear sky, however, our choices and opportunities regarding physical (food, breath) and emotional (choices of life, lived) nourishment fall. From the first cry to our last breath
The rear sky represents all that man is after birth, determined largely by the energy supplied by air and food. While the front sky defines, in a certain sense, the imprinting of our person and our original general characteristics, the rear sky allows you to modulate and partially improve these characteristics.
The shape of a person’s hands and lines are determined by the combination of anterior and posterior sky, that is, between the prenatal constitution and subsequent postnatal nourishment.
The physical appearance of a person can provide useful indications regarding the constitutional tendency to present a certain energy imbalance and, therefore, to develop energy imbalances (which in Western medicine then translate into “diseases”).
Observing the body, as well as the person’s behavior, is also very important in Chinese medicine in an overall evaluation phase.
The distinction between anterior and posterior sky is a theoretical and formal distinction in that anterior and posterior sky are two aspects of the same energy, as if they were the Yin and the Yang that complement and integrate each other.
Rear and front sky are, in fact, in very close relationship with each other:
the rear sky is the basis of the front sky;
the front sky constantly nourishes the rear sky
In #Medicine Chinese this relationship is expressed with the principle: innate increases the acquired, the acquired feeds the innate.
Looking more closely at the analogy between character, personality and hands, a further specification of the opposite and complementary characteristics results.
The left hand reflects the private aspects – the interiority – the psychological state – the receptive capacity. It symbolizes and refers to the constitutive energy of the individual. It refers to everything that is prior to our birth.
It calls into question the genetic aspects (the energy of our parents and ancestors) but also more subtle energies, up to what is also called the “karmic inheritance”.
It is the representation of our uniqueness from the moment of conception, the moment in which the energies of man and woman (our parents) but also the energies of the entire cosmos (including stars), as they are at that particular moment .
The characteristics of this constitutive energy are decisive. We only have the task of “interpreting” it during our life, preserving and protecting it, so that it can maintain its vigor for as long as possible.
This is possible thanks to a balanced lifestyle and the ability to intervene daily on vital energy through nutrition and rebalancing energy practices such as shiatsu, yoga and qi gong.
The right hand reflects public aspects – exteriority – social relations – proactive capacity. It symbolizes and refers to the energy that man renews daily from the moment of birth, especially through breathing and nutrition. It is an energy, so to speak, “acquired”, not congenital. It comes from our choices, day after day.
In practice, this acquired energy consists of those essences constantly taken from the outside: food, air, water, but also the psychoaffective nourishment given by the quality and harmony of the environment that we choose for our lives! The balance in the acquisition of this type of “fuel” allows the maintenance of vital functions and is a guarantee for our psycho-physical well-being.
We can act on the back sky, improving our state of well-being and transforming ourselves every day.

From a psychological point of view
The left hand shows our true nature, what we really are, which we show to a few chosen people; it underlies the relationship we have with ourselves. The traits of the character present on the left are vividly demonstrated with the people we believe and trust.
The right hand shows the mask, the social role; it is correlated with the way we externalize, our public figure, the ability to place ourselves in social situations; it underlies the forms of social relationship.

The left hand records the events that plague us on a deep personal level. The marks on the left hand record the psychological and emotional reactions; personal feelings leave a profound mark here. These are events that have had a profound effect on our interiority even if these do not seem to have involved us personally.
The right hand records the events that affect how we are in society. The signs on the right hand register tangible changes in our life, those that have a direct result on our interactions and social relationships.
These relationships are independent of which hand we use to write, so they remain confirmed whether we are right or left handed.
The dominant hand
As we read the hand according to its characteristics we should remember that we have a dominant hand, which reveals the modus operandi that we implement and which represents the dominant part of the brain in us. Often it is the hand with which we feel comfortable holding up a microphone, a slingshot, that is when we do something unusual but spontaneous.
How to determine the dominant hand.
A simple test will reveal the dominant hand.
Place your palms against each other. Slide your fingers together, intertwining them. The thumb that will be positioned above the other identifies the dominant hand.
When the right thumb is positioned high, the right hand is dominant. Our approach to life is logical and rational. Planning and organization are our ways of dealing with life.
If the left thumb is up, the left hand is dominant. The approach to life is creative, intuitive, holistic. The energy that we put into facing life flows in an expressive and imaginative way.
The combinations of dominant hand, hand with which you write, ying / yang hand, hand shape, etc. he will often show various contradictions, indicating multiple personalities present at the same time and many of us spend their lives (consciously or unconsciously) in trying to balance these elements in contrast with each other.
Read both hands
We always examine the left hand first and then compare it with the right. We observe the differences in the shape of the palm, fingers, their length and relative position between them. Then we dedicate ourselves to lines.
Summary
The left represents our inner nature and our aspirations, our true purpose, regardless of the success or image we want to give to others.
The right represents what we want others to see, what we want, our professional image and our position in society.
